A great time was had at Disability Peterboroughs: Disability Awareness Month, raising awareness of LPUK and dwarfism.
Huge thank you to the Serpentine Green and Inspire Peterborough for organising the event and inviting LPUK to take part.
The event is taking place during the whole month of March, where there has been, and will continue to be, a number of charities, support groups and organisations raising awareness of their particular disability and highlighting the services available in Peterborough.
LPUK volunteers went along to the day and spoke to many people, to raise awareness of the support we provide and increase the profile of people with dwarfism in the wider community. The day was a great success and we look forward to attending more in the future.
If you are interested in learning what other services are available in Peterborough, the event is continuing throughout March and more details can be found on their Facebook page.
