The Little People UK Media Team have been contacted by a BAFTA Winning Innovative TV Production Company Studio Lambert. They are currently producing their second TV Series of the hit show 'The Big Life Fix’.

This show features a skilled team of Scientists, engineers and designers who create bespoke technology to transform people's lives for the better.

They are looking for people who could benefit from a tailor made invention; perhaps there is something you feel you can't do, because of your condition, that you feel you should have the opportunity to do, or your condition prevents you from doing something you love or used to love to do. Essentially their scientists, engineers and designers are looking to help an individual, or a group, who feel their lives could be improved by their brilliant team.

So we at LPUK Media Team feel this is an amazing opportunity for us and we are appealing to our members to have a long hard think about how your lives could be helped, transformed or improved by an invention. For example, our very own Warwick Davis suggested some sort of device to fix in the bath, that would allow him to relax and chill after a stressful day, preventing him slipping down the bath and nearly drowning.  I'm sure we can all relate to that one.

So come on LPUK please get your thinking caps on and send us all your ideas. This could be be life changing.

Studio Lambert

Studio Lambert are the BAFTA-winning TV production company behind Gogglebox, The Great Interior Design Challenge and Doctor in the House.

In the first series, the team came up with solutions for a range of issues affecting individuals and communities, including creating a device to counter the effects of Parkinson’s disease for a young graphic designer, building a bicycle for a boy born with no hands or feet, and connecting a remote village in Wales up to the internet.

If you’re not familiar with the show, here is a short clip which should hopefully illustrate the premise and tone of the series: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p04jylxm
