Rotary

LPUK supporters have been given the opportunity to enter The Rotary Club of Thorpe Bay’s; Foulness Bike Ride, on Sunday 11th September. The following message has been sent to us by The Thorpe Bay Rotary Club:

The Rotary Club of Thorpe Bay is running the 17th annual Foulness Bike Ride on Sunday 11th September next and, in a change to the event this year, riders are able to support the charity of their choice when they complete their entry form online on the Thorpe Bay Rotary Club website. The ride takes place on Foulness Island, a Ministry of Defence owned island near Southend-on-Sea, an island normally closed to the public. Our event therefore presents a unique venue and one that can be used to stage an event that is open to riders of any age (riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult) and any capability.  Full details can be found in the FAQ section of the website and further information can also be found on our Facebook page 'Foulness Bike Ride'.

If you would like to enter, please visit their website to complete your entry and also email us to let us know, at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. we can then offer you our full support.
