A huge thank to you LPUK supporters Lewis Bourne and Talia Lee-Skudder, along with committee member Dawn Hinton for undertaking challenges last weekend to raise funds and awareness for LPUK. And also long time members of LPUK - The Dee family, who climbed Ben Nevis a few weeks ago.
After weeks of training Lewis and Talia both completed the Manchester half marathon on Sunday, running a total of 13 miles and raising, so far, £1,200 for LPUK. Huge well done for your achievements and a massive thank you from LPUK. Donation is still available, if you would like to donate, please visit their JustGiving page.
A big thank you again to committee member Dawn and Tesco in Corby, for allowing LPUK to have an awareness stand, and fundraising buckets, a total of £110 was raised over Saturday. Helping them achieve this was LPUK Vice Chair Ray Griffiths, with LPUK members Gemma and Richard Smart; along with their daughter Georgie, who was a fantastic ambassador for LPUK.
Another great achievement was by the Dee family, who recently climbed Ben Nevis, to raise funds for LPUK and DSAuk. Maureen, Ed, Elliot, Imogen and Bruce spent one Saturday making the trip, thankfully they had pleasant weather conditions making the trip somewhat easier. They raised a fantastic £1,506.25 for both charities.
Once again, a huge thank you to all fundraisers and supporters of LPUK, we really do appreciate your efforts and these funds go a long way to helping LPUK continue.
