Bristol Christmas meet upMembers have organised a family Christmas meet up on Sunday 9th December, at 12pm, meeting at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway for an afternoon and evening of winter fun!

Starting at The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, where there will be an opportunity to spend time at Winter Wonderland which includes Ice Skating on the largest outdoor ice rink in the South West, Santas Enchanted Ice Grotto and Vintage Fairground Rides.

For those more interested in shopping than skating, The Mall is an ideal place with lots of different stores.

After that we will head over the road to Hollywood Bowl before lastly sitting down to eat in the evening.

Would be great to catch up with everyone and have some fun before Christmas.

For more information see the Facebook events page

The LPUK Youth Team have arranged a meet up at the Nottingham Christmas Market on Saturday 1st December at 11:30am.

They will meet at the left lion, opposite the Council Houses at 11:30am, waiting until 11:45am before leaving to visit the market and go for food afterwards. (If you are running late on the day, you can contact LPUK on 07925893398 and we can let you know where people are.)

For members to go alone they must be 16 years and above, younger members can attend, but must be accompanied by an adult.

LPUK are not making any bookings and will not take responsibility for anyone's actions. Attendees must make their own travel arrangements, pay for own food and activities undertaken (should you want to on the day). No alcohol will be consumed by any LPUK representatives (i.e. Youth Team members) on the day.

Please let us know if you want to come along.

We'd love to see you before Christmas for a festive get together!

I am a 15 year old GCSE Product Design student at Malmesbury Secondary School. As part of my project I am designing something to help people complete tasks around the house with dwarfism, especially achondroplasia. I am interested in designing something for people with dwarfism because I do not believe there are many products on the market that meet their needs. In order to generate suitable concepts, I need to carry out research on my clientele. I have a few questions that would greatly help me complete my research and design something that would help people with dwarfism.

Today is #GivingTuesday - the day to do good stuff for charity.

You can easily support LPUK by doing your shopping online, through Give as you Live, it's free to sign up and costs nothing extra to you.

LPUK recieve a percentage of the costs you spend, from the stores you buy items from.

Why not raise important funds for LPUK while doing your Christmas shopping online!

A Moyes fundraiserThe lions Club of Ivybridge based in south devon, recently held a charity auction night in aid of Little People UK. The event, which took place at the Watermark Centre in Ivybridge on Saturday 21st October, brought together people from the town and its surrounding area who were hoping to get their hands on some amazing auction lots, enjoy the events entertainment, and eat plenty of pizza and chips while raising as much money as possible for LPUK.

If you own a business and would like to set up a similar initiative, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we can provide support in getting something started.

Awareness of LPUK will be raised up and down the motorways thanks to CPT Distribution Ltd, who have added the LPUK logo to one of their trucks.

CPT Distibution Ltd have done this on the request of one of their drviers, Carl Ward and his wife Laura, who's daughter, Jessica Jane, has Achondroplasia. They contacted Doug at Huston Ltd to do this for them who kindly offered to do this at a reduced rate. Jessica and her family have been long supporters of LPUK and wanted to help raise awareness.

Paul from CPT Distribution Ltd said: "It has been an emotional morning for us and very happy with how it looks!"

Thanks to everyone who has helped with this project, we hope it will help raise awareness of LPUK throughout the country.

Little People UK 2015 Christmas cards, designed by competition winner Imogen Dee, can now be purchased from the online shop.
