OTW logoLast week Little People UK committee members had the pleasure of meeting with a representative from Over The Wall; a UK charity that provides residential summer camps children and their families coping with serious illnesses and conditions.

Each year Over The Wall run a number of residential camps throughout the UK; for children with health conditions, families of children with health conditions and siblings of children with health conditions. These camps involve a wide range of activities such as raft building, canoeing, music workshops, craft workshops, team activities and much more, with the main aim of each camp is having fun, in an environment where illness and condition are irrelevant.

Over The Wall have kindly offered Little People UK 2 free family spaces at the following camp - Midlands Family Camp -  Saturday 5th May - Monday 7th May  – Whitemoor Lakes, Lichfield, Staffordshire

Plymouth City Council

Thank you in anticipation to Paul Bernard and anyone at Plymouth City Council who will be aiming raise funds for LPUK this Friday at their annual departmental Christmas events, by auctioning some excellent signed merchandise by LPUK President Warwick Davis.

We hope you all have a great time and thank you for your support.

H8 crime logoYesterday Little People UK committee members met with a Hate Crime Officer, based in the Cambridgeshire area, the aim of which was to prevent people with dwarfism feeling threatened/abused.

It was a great meeting where we were able to explain and discuss issues people with dwarfism face, for example; staring, non-permitted photographs being taken, abusive language being used, physical attacks, amongst other things.

Southampton FC ballAt this years Little People UK convention back in October, we had the pleasure of sharing a hotel with Southampton Football Club.

Some of our audacious members managed to approach some of the team for a selfie and an autograph. The team were kind enough to sign a football that we are now putting up for auction to raise money for our fantastic charity.

Please visit eBay to take part in this auction.

Help raise funds for LPUK during the Christmas period.

Little People UK are hugely grateful to everyone who has raised funds for us, as LPUK relies solely on funds raised, to help us provide the support and friendship we aim to offer.

Over the Christmas period there are a number of different ways you can fundraise easily.

Welcome to Little People UK website.

I am very proud and excited to share our website with you.

It has been many months in development and I think it signals how LPUK has matured as a charity. The site aims to be an invaluable resource to the dwarfism community, their friends and families. Membership can be completed via this website and in time event registration will be available through the site too.

We will continue to add information and develop the site based on user feedback, so if you have any suggestions, please email them to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
