OTW logoLast week Little People UK committee members had the pleasure of meeting with a representative from Over The Wall; a UK charity that provides residential summer camps children and their families coping with serious illnesses and conditions.

Each year Over The Wall run a number of residential camps throughout the UK; for children with health conditions, families of children with health conditions and siblings of children with health conditions. These camps involve a wide range of activities such as raft building, canoeing, music workshops, craft workshops, team activities and much more, with the main aim of each camp is having fun, in an environment where illness and condition are irrelevant.

Over The Wall have kindly offered Little People UK 2 free family spaces at the following camp - Midlands Family Camp -  Saturday 5th May - Monday 7th May  – Whitemoor Lakes, Lichfield, Staffordshire

This is for the whole family unit of a child with a health challenge. A family bedroom with en-suite bathroom is provided. No transport is available for this camp, so we ask families to make their own way to camp, or we can collect them from Lichfield train station by prior arrangement. Deadline for applications 9th February.

We are opening these two free spaces to all of our members, and they will be offered on a first come, first served basis, if you would like to take up these spaces, please contact us immediately on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Over The Wall also has a great volunteer program for anyone who would like to get involved, volunteers must be 18 years old and over you will gain a wealth of experience from volunteering and importantly, you’ll have a great time!
