Dear members,

We hope you are all doing well during this difficult and ever changing time, please don’t forget LPUK are here if you need us, we have some information on our website about COVID support, and we have our monthly online sessions, which we will outline at the bottom of this message, you can also contact us at any time should you need to.

Due to the current and often changing COVID19 restrictions, the LPUK Committee have now taken the difficult decision to cancel all face-to-face meetings for the foreseeable future. This includes our event in February. This was a very difficult decision to make, however after lots of discussion we felt it was the best course of action to ensure all our members are kept safe and well. We will keep everyone updated of future discussions and we look forward to starting to be able to plan an event soon. As allowed by the Charity Commission the AGM has been postponed until the earliest opportunity, with the Committee currently remaining as it is. During this period the LPUK Committee are taking the opportunity to undertake lots of foundation work, such as policy making, looking for funding opportunities and planning for the future, whilst also running the online sessions. We endeavour to continue this throughout the next few months and look forward to when we can meet-up once again, to have a celebration of the dwarfism community.

Although we can not hold face-to-face events we have a program of online monthly events, which all our members are welcome to attend, these include:

LPUK Book Club (often first Sunday of every month at 4pm)
LPUK Film Club (often second Friday of every month at 6pm)
LPUK Glad Rags and Gossip (often the third Wednesday of every month at 6pm)
LPUK Virtual Quiz (often last Wednesday of every month at 6pm)
