As the lockdown is beginning to ease we hope you are all coping with the changes and looking forward to meeting up with LPUK members at events in the not too distant future.
The committee has been working very hard during this period of lockdown to bring you a variety of virtual events along with planning for the future.
One thing we haven’t been able to arrange during this time is our AGM which we plan to do later this year. This has meant we have had to make some decisions that would normally be made at our AGM this includes replacing elected officers.
It’s with sadness that we have to inform you that Ray Griffiths has tendered his resignation as Vice Chair and also from the committee due to personal commitments. As a result of this the committee have temporarily appointed Emma Belcher and Simeon Dyer who will share the role until our next AGM. The committee was unanimous in electing them both to this position.
We are truly grateful for all the hard work, passion and commitment Ray has given over many years. His contributions have without doubt helped LPUK to grow and develop into the amazing charity that we all enjoy today.
We hope members will support Emma and Simeon as they take on this role, however if anyone has any concerns or questions please email the Charity Administrator.
In the meantime, please do join us for one or more of our virtual events and please let us know if you have any ideas for other events/activities.
