With the help of customers and Tesco in Corby, Little People UK raised over £800, by taking part in bag packing and raised awareness of dwarfism at the same time.
The fundraiser was organised by LPUK committee members Dawn and Paul Hinton and Tesco employee Steve. Volunteers were on hand to help pack customers shopping at the checkout and others were there to give out leaflets and information about the various dwarfism conditions and the work of LPUK. Little People UK patron and film star Warwick Davis joined everyone to help out with the bag packing and signed autographs for the many fans who queued up to see him. Each and everyone of them donated to LPUK! The event was publicised in the lead up to the weekend and Northamptonshire Telegraph and Connect FM were there over the weekend to report on a fantastic time had by all.
A huge thank you to all the staff and customers of the Tesco Corby store for your support of Little People UK.
