At the LPUK 6th Birthday Celebration we released the first edition of our annual newsletter!
Take a look below...
Newsletters will be sent to all current members via post in the next couple of weeks.
We would love to see these newsletters at as many places as possible, to raise awareness of dwarfism and LPUK. If you would like any more to put in your school, doctors, libraries or any communal magazine rack, please get in touch and we can send some to you. We can also send leaflets!
Lets all work together to raise awareness!
Last week Little People UK volunteers attended the second annual Peterborough Biscuit event, we had a great time meeting lots of people and making some important contacts, for Little People UK and its future projects.
The Peterborough Biscuit is an event held at the East of England Showground and is a showcase of the excellent businesses operating within a 40 mile radius of the city. This year Little People UK were lucky to be chosen as one of three charity partners, along with; Action Medical Research for Children for Children and deafblind UK
Throughout the course of the day we met with a variety of businesses to discuss our charity, increase reach within the wider community, whilst also raising awareness of dwarfism. There were also several kind donations given to us during the day, which will go a long way to helping Little People UK support people with dwarfism.
Huge thank you to Peterborough Biscuit for organising such a great event, and for allowing LPUK to be one of your chosen charities, we look forward to hopefully attending the event next year.
