LPUK are pleased to support the #itseveryonesjourney campaign, championing equal access on public transport and improving the experience of public transport for everyone. Including people within the dwarfism community.
Please share your experiences of public transport, good and bad, to help make improvements and celebrate good practice.
Look out for the campaign posters at public transport stations, along with the adverts on tv and radio.
Let's all work together to improve transport for everyone!

Newport social

January saw a couple of regional social meet ups, the first was held in Newport, where lots of members attending had a fun time bowling, followed by a lovely meal out. The second was held in Castleford, where members had the opportunity to have a cup of tea and a chat, getting to know each other and learning more about LPUK.

We aim to develop these regional social events throughout 2020 and to continue thereafter, if you would like to organise one in your region or would like some assistance in organising one in your region, please let us know so we can help our and so we can also advertise on our social media and website, to allow other members to join.

In January we also made plans to attend the Peterborough Biscuit Business Event in February, which we are very much looking forward to, to help make some useful contacts and move LPUK forwards. We have also spent a lot of time in January making contact with several people we have met during 2019, to help improve our knowledge, to fully support our members.

Nick Dean of Woodbine Farm continued his brilliant fundraising for LPUK with the help of his beautiful reindeer. And Gareth Jenkins once again undertook another of his marathon/half marathon challenges, by completing the Farnborough Half Marathon, along with his brother Craig, to support LPUK.
