H8 crime logoYesterday Little People UK committee members met with a Hate Crime Officer, based in the Cambridgeshire area, the aim of which was to prevent people with dwarfism feeling threatened/abused.

It was a great meeting where we were able to explain and discuss issues people with dwarfism face, for example; staring, non-permitted photographs being taken, abusive language being used, physical attacks, amongst other things.

A Moyes fundraiserThe lions Club of Ivybridge based in south devon, recently held a charity auction night in aid of Little People UK. The event, which took place at the Watermark Centre in Ivybridge on Saturday 21st October, brought together people from the town and its surrounding area who were hoping to get their hands on some amazing auction lots, enjoy the events entertainment, and eat plenty of pizza and chips while raising as much money as possible for LPUK.
