Thanks were given to the all committee members of the past 12 months. Special thanks to Emma-Jayne Belcher and Simeon Dyer who stepped up during a difficult time to see LPUK through the last few years, it was a real achievement and everyone is thankful for their time as chair and vice chair.

Stuart Walker handed over to Andrew Smith who gave own thanks to Emma Belcher and Simeon Dyer, their work allowed him the opportunity to continue their good work. Andrew Smith is thankful for the opportunity, understands there is a lot of work but is confident the coming year, it was also stressed how we need to hear from the membership for what they want from us, this is a community and everyone is to benefit from the support we give. Thanks were given to perspective fundraisers and it enables so many people in so many ways.

  1. Questions from members

What is LPUK here for – to support all as a platform to share knowledge, offer social support, raise awareness, provide an environment where everyone can be themselves.

Why have people stepped down – natural progression and personal choice is the reason people have stepped aside, but they do still support.

Will regionals be developed – regionals are in the process of being developed, but help is needed from the membership. The committee are limited. Posts will be added to social media to promote.

New chair and vice chair are keen to know what members want from the committee, the membership leads what LPUK will be; awareness, support, medical, regionals etc.

AGM FINISHED at 6:34pm
