As a charity Little People UK relies entirely on fundingraising and donations, your money really does make a huge difference to the lives of people with dwarfism and their families.
During this past year, LPUK has subsidised two national events – The 10th Anniversary Celebraton Event and our 10th National Annual Convention. We will be continuing to subsidise these events to provide the safe space for our community to socialise in an equal environment, whilst at the same time gaining important knowledge and information about their condition. We also aim to introduce and develop Regional Events so members around the country can meet with others more easily. Other projects we have proposed include – development of hospital guidance booklets, awareness raising documents, improvement of the website, development of our Medical Directory amongst other things.
Here’s how your donations help us –
- £40 will cover the cost of one child to attend our event for free
- £100 will cover the cost of leaflet printing for raising awareness
- £200 will cover the cost of a medical professional to attend our event
