- Auction of Promises: Do you have a particular skill or talent? Get friends and family involved in offering services to others. Ask local trades people if they will auction off an hour of their time or perhaps a specific task

- Bag Packing: get a group of volunteers together and offer your bag packing services in a local supermarket
- Bake Sale: get your friends, family and colleagues to show off their baking skills! Bake sales can take place anywhere – schools, work, home, in the local community – everyone loves cake!
- BBQ: fire up the grill for a charity BBQ with friends and neighbours or organise a community event for everyone to enjoy
- Bingo: find a local venue and hold a bingo night. You could design your own bingo cards for themed rounds or stick to the traditional number game. Charge per game and divide the takings between winnings and donations
- Birthday Giving: ask your loved ones to donate to LPUK instead of buying you gifts. You can do this easily via Facebook or JustGiving
- Bonus Ball: Charge people £1 or £2 for a number between 1 and 49. Whoever chooses the number that is drawn as the bonus ball in that week’s lottery wins half the money (or a set amount) with the rest being donated. To raise even more, continue for longer – a month, 6 months or a even a year!
- Book Sale: Everyone loves books! Raise money by selling your unwanted books. Encourage others to get involved.

- Car Boot Sale: Clear your clutter and head to a car boot sale!
- Cinema screening: Choose a location, pick a film and grab the popcorn! Invite friends and family to attend for an entry fee
- Coffee Morning:You can make your coffee morning for friends and family, or colleagues or even a networking morning for local businesses and organisations. Whatever you decide, everyone will enjoy a cuppa and a chat
- Collection Tins: ask your local shop or pub to have a collection tin at their til for customers to pop their loose change into. Contact the Little People UK Office who can supply the tins for you. This is so simple and costs nothing but is a great way to raise funds.
- Collections: Organise a collection at your local shopping centre, train station, supermarket, fete or festival. LPUK can provide collection tins so all you need to do is ask for permission and gather some volunteers! *please remember to check with your Local Authority as they may require you to inform them of when/where this is taking place
- Cycling Challenge: Get sponsors for taking on a cycling challenge. It doesn’t have to be an officially organised one – choose a route or a distance and get peddling!

- Dinner Party: Host your own charity dinner. Or get your friends involved and have a “Come Dine With Me” style event
- Dress Down/Up Day: Whether in the office or school, organise a day where everyone makes a donation to wear something different. Whether that’s taking a day off from wearing uniform or perhaps encouraging people to wear fancy dress. Perhaps an item of Blue for Little People UK or Green for Dwarfism Awareness

- eBay: Sell your unwanted items on eBay
- Etsy: Get creative and set up an Etsy store to sell your creations
- Extreme Challenge: Could you row the distance of the channel in your local gym or walk the length of the country on a treadmill?

- Face a Fear: Do you want to get over a fear? Collect sponsorship to face a fear head on
- Facebook Fundraising: use Facebook fundraising tools on your social media posts
- Fivers: Ask friends and family to donate £5. Put the names of all donors in a hat. The name pulled out wins half the amount raised, with the rest going to LPUK
- Fun Run: Keep your eye open for locally held fun runs and collect sponsorship to take part

- Games Night: If you enjoy playing games, host a games night and invite friends and family to make a donation to play
- Girls (or Boys) Night In: Invite your friends round for a fun night in. Ask them to donate what they would have spent on a night out
- Give It Up: Do you have a bad habit? Is there something you can’t live without? Whatever it is, ask for sponsorship to give it up for a month! You could add to the total by donating any money you have saved by not buying whatever it is you’re giving up
- Go Green for Dwarfism: October is Dwarfism Awareness Month, and the nationally recognised colour is green! Encourage schools and businesses to allow something green to be worn in exchange for a donation.
- Guess The Number of Sweets: Fill a jar with sweets and ask people to guess how many there are. The closest guess wins the sweets, the money raised gets donated.
- Guess The Weight of The Cake: Bake a cake and ask people to guess the weight of it. The closest guess wins the cake, the money raised gets donated

- Head Shave: Can you brave the shave for LPUK? Get sponsorship to encourage you to lose your locks! If you have long hair, consider donating your cut hair to a charity that makes wigs for those living with cancer or other health conditions, helping two charities in one go!
- Hour of Pay: Ask your colleagues to donate an hour of their pay

- International Day: Hold a day (or evening) dedicated to a certain country. Provide food, games, entertainment, information or traditions from that country and ask those attending to dress in themed costume – perhaps the colours of the country’s flag, or in their traditional dress etc.

- Jumble Sale: De-clutter and sell your unwanted stuff at a Jumble Sale. Ask friends and family for donations of items or you could charge a small fee for them to have their own table, earning themselves some cash too!

- Kick a Habit: Challenge yourself to kick that habit and ask for sponsors to encourage you to succeed
- Knitting: Set your knitting needles to work and create items to sell

- Loose Change: Ask friends, family and colleagues to collect their loose change. It’s surprising how quickly it all adds up!

- Marathon: Challenge yourself to take on a marathon
- Matched Giving: A great way to boost any money you raise is ask your employer if they have a Matched Giving Scheme and would be willing to match any money you raise
- Murder Mystery Night: Whodunnit? Host a Murder Mystery Night, charge an entry fee and put everyone’s detective skills to the test

- Name the…..: Lots of options for this – name the teddy or the dog. A musical name the song contest. Collect baby photos of colleagues and hold a name the baby competition. Whatever you choose, the rules are simple – pick the right name and you win (either a portion of the money collected or a prize)
- Nominate LPUK: Do you work for or know a company who donates to charity? Perhaps they hold events throughout the year to fundraise. If so, please nominate Little People UK

- Odd Jobs: Offer to odd jobs for friends, family and neighbours in exchange for a donation.

- Payroll Giving: Does the company you work for offer Payroll Giving? If so, this is an easy way to give to charity without paying tax on it. The payment comes directly from your salary.

- Quiz Night: Everyone loves a good quiz! Gather friends, family and the local community together, ask for donations to enter. Offer prizes for the best team name and overall winners. You could offer some of the takings as a prize or better still, see if you can persuade a local business to donate one!

- Raffle: A raffle is always a great way to fundraise. This could be a standalone raffle or one that is held during another fundraising event. Ask local businesses for donations of prizes. Remember that if the prizes include alcohol – tickets must not be sold to under 18s
- Recycle: LPUK can earn money from your used ink cartridges! Working with Recycle 4 Charity is the simple way to help the environment, with no cost to you, whilst raising money for Little People UK. So whether you’re a single donator, a group, a school, a fundraiser or a company why not sign up and start making a difference!
- Running: Whether you want to take on a 10k, half marathon or a full marathon, look for local events and get sponsorship to take part

- Scratch Cards: Fundraising scratch cards are available to purchase online. They each have a different theme so can be used for specific events or times of year. Charge everyone to pick a square, the winner receives a portion of the takings, the rest is donated
- Sky Diving: Not for the faint hearted but a great way to raise money!
- Sponsored Silence: This is a good one to get the younger ones involved in! Perhaps their class might like to do it as a group to add even more money to the pot!
- Swimming: Get sponsors to swim either a set distance or for a set amount of time. You could even get others involved and create teams

- Teddy Bears Picnic: Ask your child’s nursery or school to hold a teddy bears picnic where each child makes a donation to bring their teddy to nursery/school for the day.
- Tombola: Gather prizes and hold a tombola. This could be themed or mixed prizes. Tombola’s are also a great addition to other fundraising events

- Uniform Free: Ask schools to hold a uniform free day where pupils can pay to not wear their uniform. To add to the day, teachers could dress in uniform while pupils can wear their own clothes! This could be done during October for Dwarfism Awareness Month
- Used Stamps: Don’t throw your used postage stamps away! Little People UK would be delighted to receive them. We can now earn money for used stamps, so please start collecting the stamps from your post and send them to us to help raise funds. You could also ask local organisations like businesses, schools or hospitals to save them for you. All you would need to do is provide them with a box to place them in and then collect and forward to us

- Village Fete: Go back to basics and organise a tradition village fete. Get the community and local businesses involved and enjoy a community day raising money. Raffle, tombola, guess the name, guess the number all work well in a fete set up. You could have traditional games too – hook a duck, coconut shy, beanbag toss etc.
- Vinted: Sell your old clothes, shoes and accessories on Vinted.

- Walking: Whether it’s walking to work for a month or an organised route, get your walking shoes on and raise some money through sponsorship
- Wax it!: One for the boys! Whether it’s your legs, arms or back – people will be queuing out the door to watch!
- Wine or Water: This one is for adults only! To start you need bottles of wine as well as empty (screw top) wine bottles. Fill the empty bottles with water and then either wrap or place both the wine and water bottles into bottle bags so the contents cannot be seen. Ask people to pay (suggested price £2) to choose a bottle. The bottle chosen is what they win – will it be wine or water?!

- Xmas Fayre: Keep a look out for local Christmas fayres and hold a fundraising stall. You could sell Christmas crafts or decorations. Maybe stocking fillers
- Xmas Wrapping: Do you have a knack for gift wrapping? You could offer a gift-wrapping service to those who don’t have the time to do it themselves.

- Year of Commitment: Pledging a whole year is the ultimate commitment. Could you give something up for a year? Or promise to do something every day for a year. Maybe you can challenge yourself to raise a certain amount of money over the year? Whatever you choose people will be sure to support your dedication!

- Zip Wire: Get sponsored to take on a Zip Wire challenge
