Today marks 10 years since the first ever LPUK meet-up!
What a decade it has been; our membership has grown to over 300 members, we have held 8 birthday parties and annual conventions, plus last years back together event, including other events in between, we have had many school presentations, provided equipment via our loan scheme, started work in the communities, introduced a medical panel, developed a module to help train midwives, made connections with other organisations here and abroad, and much much more…
A huge thank you to the LPUK members and supporters, we have become a huge collective, all helping raising awareness of dwarfism, celebrating the past and working towards the future!
We have lots of plans for the next 10 years and we hope to get bigger and better, whilst following the ethos that we’re here to support everyone, we look forward to seeing you all along this journey.
