Annual National Convention 2025

Over the summer here at LPUK we have been extremely busy, preparing for our 2025 Annual Convention. This year’s event took place in Nottingham from 22nd to 24th August, bringing together over 200 members for a weekend filled with fun, friendship, laughter, and learning.

Attendees enjoyed a diverse range of activities, including the return of Matt’s Minibeasts, the fun of Milla’s African Drumming, and creative sessions such as Faye Maguire’s gel printing workshops. Entertainment highlights included Fun Entertainment’s Scalextric racing, providing excitement for members of all ages.

Alongside the fun, the convention offered informative and educational sessions, including Medical and Information Panels, as well as interactive workshops covering topics such as returning to school, mindfulness practices, safe physiotherapy exercises, meditation techniques, and LP Women meet-up. These sessions were designed to support our members’ wellbeing, and empowerment.

A key highlight of the weekend was our celebratory banquet meal, where we recognised the incredible contributions of our Fundraising Heroes and presented the prestigious LPUK Positively Unique Awards, honouring members who inspire positivity and achievement within our community.

The 2025 Annual Convention was a memorable experience that we hope strengthened connections, fostered friendships, and created lasting memories for everyone involved. We are incredibly grateful to all who attended and contributed to making this weekend so special, and we look forward to welcoming you to our next exciting LPUK event.
