March 2016 –

Wrynose Or Bust

LPUK supporter Gareth Bussey is cycling The Wrynose Or Bust cycle challenge to raise funds for LPUK.

Here is what Gareth had to say –

“This is my challenge for 2016. The ‘Wrynose Or Bust’ ride is a 117 mile slog through North Lancashire and South Cumbria. The route includes the Duddon valley and the daunting Wrynose pass, which is listed as one of the 10 toughest climbs in the UK.

I’m raising money for the brilliant charity LPUK (Little People UK). The charity is run by Sammy and Warwick Davis who use their own experiences as Little People to inspire, support and advise those who have any form of dwarfism.

As far as training goes, I’m just trying to get out as much as work and the weather permit. I’ve had a couple of rides this week totalling 93 miles. I’ve lined up a feeler ride, for want of a better term, on Sunday 10th April. This is the Market Deeping Sportive and is a 100 mile ride. My main ride is a bit earlier in the year than when I normally start hitting longer distances so it’s needing extra effort to get ready.

Please support me to help support them.”

Little People UK are extremely grateful to Gareth for undertaking this amazing challenge and are hugely grateful for his support.
