LPUK members James Hays and Gavin Beer will soon be undertaking a huge task – to complete the “The Welsh 3000” over a 24 hour period.
James and Gavin are undertaking this task to raise funds for LPUK, as James’ daughter, Gavin’s granddaughter, Eden, has Achondroplasia. So far they have raised a fantastic £600.
They have been in training over the last few months getting ready for their challenge, and with only a few weeks left are undertaking some last minute training.
Here is what Eden’s mum Emma has to say: “My dad and James have 3 weeks until their trek begins. Thank you to those who have donated. LPUK were there from the start helping with support, advice and most importantly friendship. It will continue to be there for Eden as she gets older and she’ll never feel like she’s alone with her difference, can’t thank them enough. So any spare change will really help the group continue to help people with dwarfism and their families. Many thanks.”
