LPUK are aware of the recent documentary, shown on BBC1 ‘Ellie Simmonds A World Without Dwarfism’.
We are aware it may have provoked a variety of questions and feelings within the community and acknowledge that as a community we may not all have the same opinions of the subject.
We want to gather all the facts of the community, so people can make informed decisions in the future. We want to ensure we do not alienate any of our members and feel it is important to respect different views.
We will be working to follow future developments and we hope to collaborate with other voluntary and statutory organisations to achieve this end. We will keep you informed as things develop and opportunities arise.
