Handy reacher/grabber
These can be used to pick items up from the floor or counters, they can be purchased from a wide range of places online, including: Complete Care Shop, Amazon, NRS Healthcare and through searching key words online.
Hook on a stick
These can be made easily by using a dowel rod (alter strength and length for requirement) adding a hook (alter size for requirement) to the tip to enable you to pick items up off the floor, higher counters and even to turn light switches on/off.
