We’re thrilled to announce that Little People UK has been awarded a three-year Core Fund grant from BBC Children in Need. This incredible funding will help continue the vital role of our Charity Administrator, who ensures the smooth day-to-day running of our organisation and the continued growth of our dwarfism support community.
Our Charity Administrator plays a crucial part in keeping Little People UK connected and effective. Their responsibilities include:
– Managing the daily operations of the charity
– Supporting and coordinating committee meetings
– Representing Little People UK at external meetings and events
– Organising inclusive community events and family gatherings
– Assisting with fundraising campaigns and donor engagement
– Facilitating online sessions and member support opportunities
This essential role helps us provide ongoing support, information, and opportunities for people with dwarfism and their families across the UK.
Thanks to the BBC Children in Need Core Fund, we can continue to grow our services, build stronger community connections, and ensure that every member of Little People UK feels supported and included.
Throughout the funding period, we’ll be collecting valuable feedback and insights on how this role benefits our members. We encourage anyone in our community to share their thoughts.
A huge thank you to BBC Children in Need for their trust and continued support. Their generosity helps us build a more connected and empowered community for people with dwarfism and their families.
