On July 6th, 2025, Little People UK committee members and volunteers proudly took part in Parallel Windsor 2025 challenge events, held in the beautiful surroundings of Windsor Great Park. This wonderful event brought together participants of all abilities to take on physical challenges, while raising funds and awareness.
This was a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support Little People UK’s mission to promote understanding, inclusion, and positive representation for people with dwarfism.
Representing our charity, committee members Harrison and Charlie, along with wonderful volunteers Amber, Mariette, and George completed the 5K run, whilst committee member Michelle also took on the 10K challenge. Every one of them helped raise valuable funds and highlight our work supporting people with dwarfism and their families.
At the Little People UK stall, Danielle, Annabelle, Simeon, and Emily, along with Sherlock the dog spent the day raising dwarfism awareness, sharing information about our charity, and engaging with attendees eager to learn more. They also cheered on our participants throughout the event.
This was Little People UK’s first time attending Parallel Windsor, and it was an incredibly positive and inspiring experience. We’re so grateful to everyone who supported us, from our runners and volunteers to those who stopped by to chat.
We can’t wait to return to Parallel Windsor in 2026 to continue promoting inclusion, accessibility, and community, whilst raising funds for Little People UK.
